Commercial Property Maintenance Technician

Position Summary We are seeking a Commercial Property Maintenance Technician to support the maintenance, appearance, and operation of office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use properties. This role is responsible for preventative maintenance, repairs, property inspections, landscaping, painting, tenant service requests, and other tasks necessary to maintain a safe, functional, and professional environment across our portfolio. Responsibilities Perform routine maintenance and repairs involving HVAC, plumbing, electrical, lighting, doors, windows, and general building systems. Respond to tenant work orders and maintenance requests. Conduct preventative maintenance and property inspections. Identify and address safety hazards and maintenance issues. Perform interior and exterior painting, touch-ups, and minor carpentry repairs. Maintain landscaping, flower beds, sidewalks, parking lots, and common areas to keep properties clean, attractive, and well-maintained. Assist with snow and ice removal, seasonal property maintenance, and weather-related repairs. Coordinate with vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services. Maintain accurate maintenance records and work order documentation. Participate in after-hours emergency response as needed. Perform other duties necessary to maintain the overall appearance, safety, and value of the properties. Qualifications High school diploma or GED required. 2+ years of commercial property maintenance experience preferred. Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, painting, landscaping, and general building systems. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and provide excellent tenant service. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, climb ladders, and work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
