Basic Production Helper

Sorter Position

With Staff Management | SMX, you'll get a weekly paycheck, learn new skills, meet new people, and work with a great management team in a clean and safe environment. The Sorter is responsible for working alongside a team to inspect product pouches for quality standards. We are hiring for multiple shifts that rotate weekly. You must have a flexible schedule to work all hours needed.

Week 1 - Mon-Tues, Fri-Sat

Week 2 - Wed-Thurs

Shifts: All Shifts, 1st Shift, 2nd Shift, 3rd Shift, Rotating Shifts.

Employment Types: Full Time, Temporary or Contract. Pay Rate: $15.00 / hour

Duties:

• The Sorter will be opening pouches, checking for proper top seals and accurate date codes, and removing any defective or non-conforming items from the production line.
• Perform inspections.
• Check and confirm the quality of product is up to standard
• Keeping area clean and orderly as shift progresses
• Any other duties assigned by the supervisor as required.

• Commitment to maintaining quality and safety standards throughout the shift.
• Flexible schedule
• Ability to wear all required PPE in a food production environment.
• Steel toed shoes/boots required

Requirements:

• Background Check
• Drug Test
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Required education: HS Diploma or GED.

The hourly rate for this position is anticipated between $15.00 - $15.00 per hour. This range is a good-faith estimate, based on the shift you work and other considerations permitted by law.
