Its portfolio includes Instinct EMR, Clinician's Brief, Standards of Care & Plumb's, and ScribbleVet, spanning practice software, clinical decision support, education, and AI-powered veterinary solutions.

The Opportunity

Instinct is seeking a Head of Product to lead and scale its product organization across a growing, multi-product portfolio. Partnering closely with the Chief Product & Technology Officer and executive leadership team, this person will help shape product strategy and translate it into a clear roadmap, investment priorities, and go-to-market execution. They will lead Product Management and User Research while partnering deeply with Engineering, Design, Sales, Marketing, Customer Experience, and Finance. This is an opportunity to shape the next phase of a category-leading vertical SaaS platform as Instinct expands its portfolio and builds new AI-native veterinary experiences.

What You'll Own

• Lead product strategy, roadmap, and prioritization across a multi-product SaaS portfolio.
• Manage investment decisions across customer segments, product lines, and emerging AI initiatives.
• Lead, coach, and scale the Product Management and User Research organizations.
• Partner with Engineering and Design to improve product discovery, development, and delivery.
• Work closely with Sales and Marketing on product positioning, packaging, monetization, launches, and go-to-market strategy.
• Build deep customer and market understanding across veterinary practices, specialty hospitals, and enterprise/consolidator customers.
• Own product operating budget, headcount planning, and investment trade-offs.
• Drive measurable business outcomes including retention, expansion, activation, win rate, and product-driven NRR.
• Represent the product organization with customers, prospects, executives, the board, and industry stakeholders.

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of Product Management experience, including 5+ years leading product organizations at the Senior Director or VP level.
• Experience scaling product teams through significant growth, transformation, or M&A.
• Strong multi-product SaaS portfolio experience.
• Demonstrated experience launching AI-native or AI-enhanced commercial SaaS products.
• Track record of influencing commercial outcomes through product strategy, GTM, packaging, monetization, and launches.
• Experience building or modernizing a strong User Research function.
• Experience owning product budgets and making strategic investment decisions.
• Strong partnership with Sales, Marketing, Customer Success/Experience, Engineering, and Design.
• Vertical SaaS, healthcare, clinical, or another specialized industry background strongly preferred.
• Exceptional executive-level written and verbal communication.
