Associate Attorney

Clausen Miller P.C. is a nationally recognized insurance defense firm with decades of experience representing major insurers and self-insured clients across complex litigation matters. We're growing our New York litigation team and looking for a motivated Associate Attorney to work closely with a Senior Partner on a diverse caseload spanning casualty defense, premises liability, and environmental liability. This is a hands‑on role from day one — you'll be taking depositions, making court appearances, and building your litigation skills within a collaborative, well‑resourced team. What You'll Do Draft and argue motions, pleadings, discovery demands, and responses Conduct and defend depositions Manage discovery, including interrogatories and document review Perform legal research and case analysis Appear in New York courts as needed What We're Looking For 3–5 years of litigation experience in casualty defense, premises liability, or environmental liability Active New York bar admission required; New Jersey bar admission a plus Strong written and oral advocacy skills Detail‑oriented self‑starter comfortable working in a fast‑paced litigation environment Compensation & Benefits Salary: $110,000–$125,000, commensurate with experience Comprehensive health insurance 401(k) Life insurance CLE reimbursement and bar registration fees covered Hybrid schedule (in‑office and remote flexibility) #J-18808-Ljbffr
