Hyatt Place Columbia/Harbison is seeking a dedicated and experienced Front Desk Agent who is passionate about guest service and hospitality.

Compensation: $15.00 to $16.00 per hour, Full-Time Sunday-Saturday 7AM-3PM, 3PM-11PM *Schedule Flexibility Required*

As a Front Desk Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and play a key role in creating a welcoming and memorable stay. We are looking for energetic, professional individuals who enjoy working with people and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Welcome guests warmly and create a positive first impression.
• Process guest check-ins and check-outs accurately and efficiently.
• Manage reservations and room availability. Experience with Opera PMS is a plus.
• Handle guest inquiries, room requests, and provide local information.
• Answer and direct phone calls professionally.
• Process payments, credit card transactions, and guest folios.
• Review daily reports and identify billing discrepancies.
• Prepare folios for departing guests.
• Maintain the appearance and cleanliness of the lobby area.
• Assist with breakfast service when needed.
• Follow all hotel policies and emergency procedures to ensure guest safety.

Qualifications

• Previous hotel front desk experience preferred.
• Experience with hotel reservation and property management systems is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Professional phone etiquette.
• Ability to resolve guest concerns quickly and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to remain calm, positive, and professional in a fast-paced environment.
