Accounting Internship

Overview The Accounting Intern will support the Accounting team with day-to-day accounts payable and administrative accounting functions while gaining hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced corporate environment. This internship is designed to provide exposure to accounting systems, financial processes, vendor management, and cross‑functional business operations. This role is ideal for a student or recent graduate interested in pursuing a career in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration. Key Responsibilities Assist with invoice processing in accounting systems Support vendor setup and maintenance activities Help organize and reconcile accounting records and documentation Review invoices for accuracy and completeness Assist with payment processing and tracking Monitor shared accounting inboxes and route inquiries appropriately Support electronic document management Learn and assist with multiple accounting platforms and systems Collaborate with members of the Accounting and Operations teams on special projects Maintain confidentiality of financial and company information Attention to Detail Communication Skills Time Management Organization Willingness to Learn Professionalism Problem Solving Qualifications Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field Basic understanding of accounting principles preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment Willingness to learn new systems and processes Experience with MRI, Yardi, or AvidXchange is a plus, but not required What We Offer Hands‑on experience in the retail real estate industry Mentorship and guidance from experienced accounting professionals Opportunity to develop valuable skills and knowledge in accounting Flexible work schedule to accommodate academic commitments Join our team and gain valuable experience in a dynamic and supportive environment!
