Cath Lab Technician

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shifts available for 4x10 hours (08:00 - 18:00) or 5x8 hours (08:00 - 16:00).

Job Description

The Cath Lab Technician will perform various diagnostic and interventional procedures in the cardiac catheterization lab. This role requires a minimum of two years of recent experience as well as the appropriate certifications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic procedures such as left heart catheterization and right heart catheterization.
• Perform interventional procedures including Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI) and Cardiac Stent Placement.
• Manage equipment setup and maintain sterile field during procedures.
• Recognize life-threatening arrhythmias and respond appropriately.
• Assist in the placement and removal of intra-aortic balloon pumps (IABP).

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum 2 years of recent experience as a Cath Lab Technician.
• Current certifications in ACLS, BLS, ARRT, or CCI RCIS.
• Experience with charting systems is required.
