MRI Technologist

Day shift, 4x10 hours (12:30 PM - 11:00 PM)

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled MRI Technologist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing MRI procedures, preparing patients for imaging, and ensuring high-quality diagnostic images while adhering to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans on patients per physician's orders.
• Prepare and position patients in the MRI machine for optimal imaging.
• Monitor patients during procedures to ensure safety and comfort.
• Ensure the technical quality of images by adjusting equipment settings as necessary.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment in the imaging department.
• Document procedures and patient information accurately.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• ARRT certification - MRI required.
• BLS certification required.
• Minimum of 1 year of charge experience preferred.
• Experience with Allscripts or similar charting systems is preferred.
• Experience in a Community Hospital setting is a plus.
