This role sits within ABB's Robotics business, a leading global robotics company. We're entering an exciting new chapter as we've announced the plan for SoftBank Group to acquire ABB Robotics. SoftBank is a globally recognized technology group and investor/operator focused on AI, robotics, and next-generation computing. By joining us now, you'll be part of a pioneering team shaping the future of robotics—working alongside world-class experts in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.
In this role, you'll lead global sales and business development for the Data Centers segment, driving growth through strategic accounts, partnerships, and early-stage customer engagement. You'll own the commercial strategy, pipeline, and execution to deliver sustainable revenue and market expansion.
Key Responsibilities
- Define and execute global sales strategy, pipeline development, and account capture plans
- Lead strategic relationships with hyperscalers, partners, and key customers
- Drive early design influence and translate customer needs into scalable solutions
- Build and lead a high-performing global sales organization
- Own business performance including orders, revenue, margins, and pipeline quality
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Business, or related field
- 10+ years in sales leadership, business development, or strategic accounts
- Experience in data centers, automation, or infrastructure industries
- Proven success managing global accounts and complex deals in similar segment
- Experience influencing early-stage customer decisions and specifications with a strong commercial and strategic mindset
- Executive-level communication and stakeholder management and the ability to lead across regions and influence without authority
