Public Relations Specialist

The Los Angeles Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA) is offering an emergency appointment opportunity in the Public Relations Specialist I classification in the Marketing, Development, Design, and Digital Research Division (MDDDRD) , located at 201 North Figueroa Street, Suite 1400 Los Angeles, CA 90012.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Under the supervision of a Public Information Director, the Public Relations Specialist I will prepare informational, promotional, or educational material regarding Department of Cultural Affairs functions or activities, for presentation by publication, broadcast, or digital media; may coordinate public relations events and related work. A Public Relations Specialist is engaged in activities intended to increase public understanding of Department services, and to obtain public participation in activities, events, and resources provided by the Department of Cultural Affairs.
