Westaff Hiring 2nd Shift Maintenance Mechanic for Production Company in Middletown, CT!

Full-Time | 3:30 PM - Midnight (Training on 1st Shift)

Pay: $27-$31/hr DOE

About the Maintenance Mechanic Role:

This position supports daily production operations by troubleshooting equipment, performing repairs, and ensuring machinery runs safely and efficiently. Candidates with strong mechanical aptitude and a background in industrial maintenance will thrive here.

Maintenance Mechanic Requirements:

English proficiency required
Bilingual candidates encouraged (no preference on secondary language; our team speaks 15+ languages)

Maintenance Mechanic Preferred Experience:

Welding , fabrication , high-voltage systems
PLC programming and automation familiarity
Conveyor belt maintenance and equipment failure diagnostics
Ability to read and interpret blueprints/schematics
Continuing education through FIT or FPSA (accepted in lieu of a degree)
Mechanical or Electrical certificates from Lincoln Tech , Asnuntuck , or similar programs
