Job Description

We are seeking an Assembly Technician to join our team. This role involves performing a variety of repetitive processes using varied machines and hand tools to complete the assembly and sub-assembly of component parts. You will be working in the Assembly Cell, putting together sub-assemblies, ensuring alignment, running them through the press machine, conducting quality checks, and packing finished coolers into shipping containers.

• 1st shift

• 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM; Monday to Thursday

• Climate Controlled Facility

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly tasks including putting together sub-assemblies and adding caps.

• Run parts through the press machine and conduct quality checks using air pressure.

• Pack finished coolers into shipping containers.

• Remove plates after assembly and pinning, followed by pressing tubes through oven zones.

• Work in the Bundle Department setting up baffles into fixtures, measuring distances with calipers, and using glue guns as per work orders.

• Insert 'Cores' into the casting and prepare them for pinning and pressing.

• Maintain records related to production, downtime, quality, and maintenance.

• Ensure all quality standards are met through visual inspections or measuring devices.

• Keep work area and equipment clean and orderly.

• Perform computer transactions in various software programs.

• Execute other job assignments and related functions as directed by the Team Lead or Manager.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.

• Basic arithmetic skills (MDAS, decimals) and reading comprehension at an 8th grade level.

• Direct manufacturing assembly experience is a plus.

• Hand dexterity and teamwork skills.

Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of York, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.75 - $19.00/hr.
