Description

This position is part of a Pennsylvania Procurement Code contract program. POSITION SUMMARY-
The Assembler employee is primarily responsible for learning and completing a variety of responsibilities on the production lines while acting in accordance with the company's values, vision, and mission.

Education, Experience, & Skills

• Minimum of High School Diploma or equivalent

• Experience in a production setting preferred

• Experience with ISO 9001-2015 preferred

• Must be authorized to work in the United States

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assemble filters to acceptable quality standards and within the acceptable production range

• Assist in changeovers (filling glue, changing/loading frames, adjusting table rails, gathering materials)

• Clean glue machine rollers and workstations; sweep area and dispose of trash daily

• Track individual daily production and complete assigned work within expected timeframes

• Repair defective product (where appropriate) and report issues or quality concerns immediately

• Follow all SOPs, quality processes, safety requirements, accident reporting, and safe travel procedures

• Maintain PTO according to policy; adhere to schedule; cooperate and communicate effectively with coworkers and supervisors

• Participate in monthly department meetings, company events, and required training; complete additional duties as assigned


Working Conditions
• Primarily works in a temperature-controlled production area
• Travels to other locations as needed

Physical Demands
• Ability to verbally communicate with others
• Light to moderate physical effort required
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 10 lbs.
• Regularly required to stand, walk, reach and move around machinery
• Repetitive use of hands, wrists, and forearms
• Fine motor skills - uses hands to finger, handle and/or feel
