What a Typical Day Looks Like Review plans, specs, and perform material takeoffs Build detailed and competitive cost estimates Coordinate with vendors for pricing and scope clarity Lead awarded projects from kickoff through closeout Manage in-house installation crews and labor planning Visit job sites and proactively solve issues Maintain communication with contractors and vendors Make real-time decisions to keep projects on track What You Bring Required Experience leading teams and driving accountability Ability to read architectural plans and specifications Strong math and analytical skills Ability to work independently Highly Preferred Takeoff software experience Knowledge of flooring materials and installation methods Cost estimating and vendor bid management experience Key Responsibilities Perform takeoffs and build detailed estimates Analyze vendor pricing and identify cost risks Manage projects from bid through completion Lead, schedule, and support installation teams Maintain strong vendor and client relationships Monitor budgets, timelines, and quality standards Drive performance, accountability, and productivity Why You’ll Love Working Here Aurora Flooring is a respected Anchorage company that invests in its people and promotes from within.
