The ideal candidate will have experience in workstation deployment, on-site installation, inventory control, and customer support and a proven ability to coordinate hardware and software fulfillment, execute installations, and maintain compliance with IT security standards .

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with Workstation Support Services to receive, configure, schedule, and install hardware and software orders.
• Label equipment according to Mayo specifications and document device details per purchase orders and standards.
• Coordinate and execute equipment relocations with service and business units.
• Work independently to perform on-site installations, repairs, and customer service per requests.
• Serve as a technical and equipment liaison with support services such as Help Desk, Applications, and Materials Management.
• Assist with end user training and explain basic concepts including hardware and software requirements and scheduling impacts.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment required for installations and repairs.
• Collaborate with IT Infrastructure to manage parts inventory.
• Evaluate and process equipment in alignment with IT Security policies and guidelines.
• Participate in overtime and on-call rotations as needed.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Two years of customer service experience.
• Strong organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with strict confidentiality.
• Experience using ticket tracking software and related documentation tools.
• Ability to manage changing workloads, special projects, and high-priority orders.
• Understanding of computer terminology, including CPU, Internet, Networking, Client/Server, and LAN/WAN, to align customer needs with solutions.
• Ability to bend, stoop, kneel, squat, and work with arms above shoulder level.
• Ability to lift seventy-five pounds or more and distinguish colors.
• High School Diploma.
• Valid driver's license.

Preferred Skills:

• Two years of customer service experience supporting computers.
• Associate degree or two years of technical school training in Computers, Technology, Electronics, or a related field.
