Qualifications:

• Valid Illinois School Psychologist License required
• Previous experience with preschool-aged students preferred
• Familiarity with district-specific requirements, such as Professional Educator License (PEL) with School Psychologist Endorsement
• Strong interpersonal, assessment, and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to ethical and evidence-based school psychological practices

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and interpret results for individual students
• Develop recommendations for instructional and behavioral interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students’ academic, social, and emotional development
• Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to the development of appropriate goals
• Provide crisis intervention and short-term counseling as needed
• Support the creation of a positive learning environment for all students
