At Senior Helpers, you'll join a team that is committed to providing exceptional care with compassion, respect, and reliability.Key ResponsibilitiesActivities of Daily Living (ADLs)Assist with personal hygiene: bathing, grooming, oral care, and dressingSupport toileting and provide incontinence care with discretionAid with mobility, transfers (bed to chair), and ambulationAssist with feeding while ensuring proper nutrition and hydrationInstrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADLs)Prepare meals based on dietary needs and preferencesProvide medication reminders (non-clinical support only)Perform light housekeeping: cleaning, organizing, dishwashingManage laundry, linen changes, and basic home upkeepRun errands such as grocery shopping and picking up essentialsProvide companionship and emotional support through engagement and activitiesDay-to-Day TasksFollow individualized care plans and daily routinesMonitor and document changes in the client’s conditionMaintain a safe, clean, and comfortable living spaceAssist with appointments or accompany clients as neededCommunicate updates with families and care teamsPay & Benefits$18–$22 per hour (paid biweekly via direct deposit)5 sick days + holiday payWe offer a 401K Retirement Plan and Health, Dental, Eye, and Life InsuranceReferral bonuses and caregiver recognition incentives$10/month technology stipendMileage reimbursementFree scrubs and PPEOne-on-one client care (no facility ratios)Hands-on paid training in a mock-home environmentOngoing structured paid training (dementia, hospice, chronic care, and more)Clear career growth opportunitiesSupportive and inclusive workplaceCaregiver RequirementsCompassionate, patient, and passionate about senior careReliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and auto insurancePrior caregiving experience is a plus (not required)Physically able to assist with mobility and transfersAbility to push/pull up to 50 lbs and lift up to 30 lbsStrong communication and documentation skillsAbility to pass background check and drug screeningWillingness to work flexible shifts, including some weekendsMust be at least 18 years oldHigh school diploma or GED requiredWork Environment This is a home-care role based in Tustin and the surrounding areas, offering a meaningful opportunity to make a direct impact on a client’s quality of life through compassionate, one-on-one care.Join us in making a difference, one day at a time.
