Details 36-bed Med/Surg Telemetry unit specializing in pulmonary and respiratory disorders 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratio Collaborates closely with respiratory therapy, physical therapy, care management, and pharmacy Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Every other weekend required Every holiday required Floating to other units and hospitals required 36 or 48 hours per week accepted Uses Meditech EMR Requirements Active RN license, State of Alabama or Compact (no temporary licenses accepted) AHA BLS or Red Cross BLS certification required Associate degree in nursing required 2 years of RN experience required; will consider 18 months with 1 year of recent experience in the specialty No prior license actions or hits, past or current Additional Information Provide specialized nursing care to patients with a wide range of lung diseases and injuries Solid navy scrub color dress code Parking available on-site Local candidates accepted at the same pay rate with no mile radius restriction Completion of a Cardiac Exam required after offer acceptance American Traveler Job ID P-742693.
