Details Cardiac Post Procedural Unit (CPPU) overflow unit within a hospital setting Night shift, 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM 13-week assignment Every other weekend required Holiday coverage required as scheduled Floating to other units/hospitals required Uses Meditech EMR Requirements Active RN license (Alabama or Compact) required, no temporary or pending licenses accepted Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) Associate degree in nursing required 2 years of RN experience required, though 18 months may be considered if practicing under the highest level of professional license 1 year of recent experience in Med/Surg Tele specialty required NURSYS license verification required No history of license actions, past or current Additional Information Provide nursing care to Med/Surg Telemetry patients on a cardiac post-procedural overflow unit On-site cardiac competency test required in addition to online pre-test prior to start Virtual orientation includes competency-based modules Dress code requires solid navy scrubs Local candidates accepted at the same rates with no mile radius restriction American Traveler Job ID P-731191.
