LVN (Licensed Vocational Nurse) Multiple Shifts

Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Full‑time 12 Hour Shifts Williamsburg Village Healthcare Campus – DeSoto, TX offers a rewarding career at a long‑term and rehabilitative care facility. We are looking for Licensed Vocational Nurses (LVN) with skilled nursing supervisory experience. As an LVN you will participate in and direct the delivery of patient care in accordance with facility clinical systems, regulatory requirements, and physician orders. You will be responsible for ensuring that the highest quality services are delivered in a customer‑service‑friendly environment. You will play a key role in creating a positive resident experience by providing quality compassionate healthcare. LVN Responsibilities Maintain appropriate nursing service objectives, goals, and standards of nursing practices consistent with licensure requirements and the Nurse Practice Act. Evaluate staffing pattern needed to meet the needs of residents in conjunction with the Director of Nursing. Administer medication/treatments as prescribed. Receive, transcribe, and implement physician’s orders. Implement and evaluate care plans. Identify and secure equipment supplies. Direct and oversee subordinates. Participate in duty assignments. Organize and coordinate subordinates, job tasks, and time allotments. Oversee and monitor function and activities of subordinate staff. Evaluate staff performance and institute appropriate action discipline training. Monitor infection control compliance. Investigate and document accidents/incidents. Other duties as assigned. LVN Requirements Current, valid licensure as an LVN required. Experience in long‑term healthcare preferred. Management or supervisory experience required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills needed. Strong written and verbal skills required.
