About the Role

The Company is in search of a Vice President of Sales, Service, and Retail Development to take on a pivotal role in driving revenue growth, expanding retail partnerships, and building scalable commercial capabilities. This hands-on, player-leader position is ideal for a senior commercial executive who is ready to lead from the front, owning key customer relationships, and actively participating in all aspects of the sales process. The successful candidate will be responsible for personally leading and executing sales growth strategies, maintaining direct ownership of strategic customer relationships, and driving disciplined sales execution. Additionally, the role involves identifying and closing new business opportunities across various channels and leading a team of regional sales leaders to foster a high-performance, customer-centric sales culture. Applicants for the Vice President role at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or a related field, with an MBA preferred, and at least 10 years of progressive sales leadership experience in food wholesale, CPG, or retail distribution. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record as a hands-on commercial leader, strong commercial acumen, and a deep understanding of food products and commodity-driven businesses. Strong cross-functional leadership skills and the ability to influence operations, finance, and supply chain are essential. Established retail relationships and a positive industry reputation are also highly valued.
