Job Opportunity: Registered Nurse - Short Stay Pre/Post Unit
Our organization in San Antonio is looking for a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our Short Stay Pre/Post unit. This position is essential in delivering empathetic and top-notch care to patients both prior to and following their medical procedures.
Key Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough patient assessments.
- Initiate IV therapy and administer medications as required.
- Monitor patients during their recovery phase.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and anesthesia teams.
- Maintain high standards of safety and infection control.
- Current Registered Nurse license.
- Experience in a similar healthcare setting is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
