Laboratory Technician

Pay Rate Low: 20 | Pay Rate High: 20 Seeking a Laboratory Technician to support the Rapid Analysis Department with laboratory sample management, sample preparation, and forage sample analysis. Pay: 20/hr Location: Sherburne County, MN Schedule: Monday–Friday, 6:30 AM–3:00 PM CST + occasional Saturday (approximately 1 half-day Saturday/month) Onsite: 5 days/week Responsibilities Manage laboratory samples and document retention systems. Prepare, grind, label, weigh, and scan samples using NIR equipment. Support forage sample analysis and daily processing activities. Maintain clean, organized laboratory work areas. Follow all safety procedures and laboratory protocols. Use Microsoft Office 365 and related systems. Communicate effectively and prioritize multiple tasks. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. 1+ year of relevant experience. Strong attention to detail, communication, and teamwork skills. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast‑paced environment. Microsoft Office 365 proficiency. Additional Requirements Leather shoes required in the laboratory. Contact lenses are not permitted in the lab. Regular exposure to common food allergens, including milk, peanuts, eggs, tree nuts, soy, gluten, fish, and shellfish. Clean‑shaven appearance may be required for respirator use. Background check, drug test, and respiratory questionnaire required.
