About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in Phase I PACU, inpatient care, and the ability to float from preoperative to PACU. License: Current RN license in California Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: Phase I PACU experience Inpatient experience Cath lab recovery experience Flexibility to work at various locations Description: The Registered Nurse will provide care in a fast-paced post-anesthesia care unit. The nurse will monitor patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures. Responsibilities include assessment and management of patient conditions, medication administration, and collaboration with the healthcare team. The candidate must have experience with arterial line management, dysrhythmia recognition, and various anesthesia techniques. The nurse will also handle pain assessment and management, including PCA pump management. Strong communication skills are essential for working with diverse patient populations. The role requires the ability to recognize and respond to changes in patient conditions. Adherence to safety protocols and best practices is expected at all times.
