About the Position

Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Post Anesthesia Care Unit Duration: 16 weeks Shift: Day Hours per Shift: 8 Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience License: Registered Nurse License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS Must-Have: - Must have experience in Cath Lab recovery - Phase I PACU experience - Phase II recovery experience - Pre-operative and post-operative experience - Circulating and scrubbing experience Description: The Registered Nurse will be responsible for providing care to patients recovering from anesthesia. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to float to other facilities as needed. Experience in ambulatory and outpatient settings is preferred. Charge experience is a plus. The role requires a patient-to-nurse ratio of approximately 2 during the day. Flexibility to be reassigned to a different department or unit may be necessary. Skills required include airway assessment, circulation checks, and discharge instructions. The ideal candidate will possess familiarity with monitored anesthesia care and various surgical procedures. Physical and respiratory therapy support will be provided as part of the interdisciplinary team. Candidates must comply with vaccination requirements. Proof of vaccinations is mandatory for consideration.
