About the Position

Job Title: Travel RN - MICU Profession: RN Specialty: ICU Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 2 years of current acute care ICU RN hospital experience License: Valid RN License Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH Must-Have: - Candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. - Minimum 1 year current acute care ICU RN hospital experience - BLS, ACLS & NIH Description: This Travel RN position is for the Medical ICU. The unit has a total of 26 beds and employs approximately 65 staff members. Day shift has a Charge RN and additional RNs and PCTs on the team. Night shift has patient ratios of 2:1, although this is an estimated ratio and not guaranteed. The unit is equipped with CRRT and utilizes Meditech/CPN for electronic medical records. Candidates should possess experience in moderate sedation, hemodynamic monitoring, and airway management. The ideal candidate will demonstrate teamwork, adaptability, and a positive attitude. Prior experience in large trauma facilities is preferred. Candidates will be prioritized based on their experience with Meditech and CRRT.
