Field Technician

Field Technician – Paint Booth, Automotive Manufacturing Site Nalco Water, an Ecolab company, helps customers conserve more than 161 billion gallons of water annually. How You’ll Make An Impact Operate, monitor and troubleshoot facility processes in accordance with established procedures. Perform testing on lab samples, analyze and record results and data in compliance with company and regulatory requirements. Analyze daily process application quality using small intricate parts. Provide routine and special application service support to customers. Execute required chemistry tests. Log and report data. Maintain product inventories. Provide technical support to customers. Troubleshoot and maintain systems as needed. Use a fluke meter to check sensitivity. Operate a test stand to verify air and fluid leaks. Position Details Location: Kentucky Truck Plant, Louisville, KY. Shift: Sunday – Wednesday 6pm – 5am. Compensation: $22 per hour. You’ll gain access to industry‑leading training and development programs. Minimum Qualifications High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite. Immigration sponsorship is not available for this opportunity. Preferred Qualifications Experience working independently in an industrial setting. Demonstrable mechanical aptitude. Previous experience in industrial wastewater treatment or maintenance. Mechanical problem‑solving experience (plumbing, electrical, HVAC or other mechanical experience). Strong customer service skills; proven ability to interface positively and professionally with customers. Ability to analyze readings and enter data into a spreadsheet logically. Verbal and written communication skills. Previous experience explaining results of data gatherings. Physical Requirements Lift, push, pull and carry up to 50 pounds chest high. Wear and use a respirator under certain conditions. Work in a variety of conditions including confined spaces, damp/dusty areas and extreme temperatures. Stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, balancing, walking, standing and climbing are required. Work indoors and outdoors in all seasons and weather conditions.
