Computed Tomography Technologist - Travel Job

CT Tech Opportunity

Become a vital part of Jackson HealthPros' team as an experienced CT Tech. You will accurately interpret a physician's scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, and expertly operate CT scan equipment for an area healthcare facility.

Minimum Requirements:

• 2 years CT Tech experience.
• Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited program in Radiology.
• Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in Radiologic Technology with advanced registry in CT (required by client).
• BLS certification.
• Demonstrated experience performing venous and arterial phase scanning, multi-phase scanning, stroke imaging including perfusion, and colorectal studies (client required).
• Ability to start peripheral IVs (client required).
• Experience with CT-guided invasive procedures and working with anesthesia support as needed (preferred by client).
• Familiarity with EPIC (EMR), Epic Radiant (RIS), and Philips iSite (PACS) preferred.
• TeraRecon knowledge preferred, not required.
• Minimum two years of experience in a hospital or similar high-volume setting (client required).
• Willingness to work a travel assignment and comply with facility radius rule: traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit.

• Facility Type: Hospital.
• Shift Name: Mid Shift.
• Shift Days and Hours: Fri-Sun 11:00a-11:30p (Mids, 3x12 schedule).
• Assignment Type: Travel.
• Duration: 13 Week assignment.
• Standard Hours Per Week: 36.
• Department case mix: ED, inpatient, observation, outpatient; performs CT-guided invasive procedures and cardiac CT imaging on day shift 7 days/week.
• Orientation: 1 day administrative onboarding; 2 days to 1 week departmental orientation as needed, may include weekdays.
• Floating: No.
