Job Summary:
The healthcare organization is seeking a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) Nurse in Albany, New York. This position requires candidates to have Epic electronic medical record (EMR) experience and previous travel experience. Candidates must bring their license on the first day of work. The role involves caring for high-acuity postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients, requiring advanced hemodynamic monitoring skills.

Job Details:

• Location: Albany, New York

• Schedule: Night shifts
• Required Qualifications: Certifications in appropriate nursing credentials, valid state license, 2-3 years of staff CVICU experience, Epic EMR experience, and previous travel experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Competency in managing immediate postoperative cardiac and vascular surgery patients, ventilator management, spinal drains, ECG interpretation, temporary pacemakers, and vasoactive/inotropic drip titrations.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Navy blue scrubs are required. Competency test must be completed within 24 hours of submission and sent via candidates email. Effective January 11, 2024, local candidates are no longer being accepted by the organization.
