Buying Manager, Luxury

Summary Maximize sales and profitability through strategic product selection, assortment execution, and in-season performance management. Develop product strategies that support financial plans, customer experience, and brand direction while partnering with cross-functional and regional teams. Responsibilities Formulate and execute merchandise selection, procurement, and promotion, including quarterly Milan travel to assort the line. Develop product and assortment strategies using customer knowledge, marketplace trends, and current and historical business analysis. Partner with planning, brand, image, and regional teams to improve profitability, productivity, and customer experience. Assess business growth and risk opportunities, present recommendations, and visit stores and competitors to identify market trends. Lead, coach, and develop direct reports, manage performance and priorities, and support succession planning. Requirements Strong analytical, organizational, presentation, and written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple activities, influence cross-functional partners, and build effective working relationships. Knowledge of the customer, marketplace, product lifecycle, and business analysis at the style and color level. Strong leadership and team-building skills; able to motivate, negotiate, and influence across departments.
