Brand Data Strategist

Position Overview:

The Brand Data Strategist at PHNTM will integrate data analysis with marketing strategy to drive decision-making across the organization. This role demands a blend of marketing acumen and analytical know-how, with a focus on generating actionable insights from diverse data sources. The ideal candidate will have a background in marketing, market research, or analytics, and possess the ability to translate complex data into impactful strategies and compelling project recaps.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze data with a marketing lens to identify trends and performance metrics, providing strategic growth recommendations and insights for client acquisition and project effectiveness.

• Lead strategy analysis for agency projects (experiential, content, tech + innovation), focusing on KPI definition, ROI measurement, and strategic goal setting, with a particular emphasis on digital marketing analytics.

• Collaborate across business verticals (fashion & beauty, finance & tech, sports, CPG, gaming) to deliver data-driven marketing insights and support data-informed decisions.

• Utilize social media and search analytics tools to gain consumer insights, informing marketing strategies and campaign performance measurement.

• Provide insights on consumer behavior through quantitative and qualitative research methods.

Desired Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Digital Marketing, Statistics, Data Science, Business/Commerce, Economics, or a related field.

• A minimum of 3 years of experience in strategy & analytics, with a preference for backgrounds in media, retail, marketing, or management consulting.

• Experience with Business Intelligence / Brand Performance tools and the ability to establish a core set of platforms/tools for the Agency.

• Strong analytical thinking and communication skills, with the ability to present data in a consumable format.

• Experience in marketing research, digital marketing analytics (Google Analytics, Social Media analytics), and media mix modeling.

• Proficiency in advanced analytics, data visualization tools, and social listening tools (e.g., BrandWatch, Audiense, SEMrush).

Bonus

• Experience in building and maintaining dashboards.

• Background in consulting with subsequent experience in marketing performance analytics or marketing strategy.
