This role partners closely with Sales, Finance, Supply Chain, Category Management, and Customer Teams to deliver high quality reporting, forecasting, and performance analysis. The ideal candidate blends advanced analytical capability with strong business judgment, clear communication, and the ability to influence decisions in a dynamic CPG environment.This is a fully remote (U.S.) position.From your EXPERTISE to oursKey responsibilities for this position include:Develop, automate, and maintain dashboards and reporting tools using Power BI, Excel, and M365 to support sales performance, forecasting, trade spend, and customer insights.Utilize Circana and Nielsen data to find key insights - including weekly reporting and developing content.Utilize customer specific data (Circana Gateways or Retailer specific data portals) to create reporting to support Sales.Build and refine demand forecasts & inventory levels in partnership with Sales, Supply Chain, and Finance; identify risks, opportunities, and variance drivers.Support Sales by helping to build offline Customer Financial Planners (Excel).Analyze customer and channel performance, including pricing, promotions, distribution, and profitability.Manage large datasets from multiple internal and external sources; ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity.Support annual planning, budgeting, and strategic initiatives with scenario modeling and revenue projections.Partner with customer teams to prepare selling stories, category insights, and customer ready materials.Identify process gaps and implement scalable solutions that improve reporting efficiency and decision quality.Serve as a subject matter expert on analytical tools, data governance, and best practices.RequirementsFrom your STORY to oursQualified applicants will contribute the following:Associate's degree (or 5 years of equivalent experience), Bachelor's degree preferred.3+ years in CPG, retail, or distributor analytics roles.Certification in Microsoft Excel and/or Power BI is a plus.Microsoft 365: Strong proficiency in Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, and collaborative workflows.Data Management: Experience with large datasets, ETL processes, and data quality controls.SQL or similar query languages (preferred but not required).Forecasting & Analytics: Understanding of CPG demand planning, POS analysis, syndicated data (IRI/Nielsen), and trade performance metrics.Experience supporting Sales, Category, Finance, or Supply Chain teams.Proven track record of building dashboards, forecasting models, and executive ready insights.Familiarity with customer specific data and general CPG sales model.Clear communicator who can translate complex data into simple, compelling narratives for non-technical audiences.Business curiosity with the ability to ask the right questions and challenge assumptions respectfully.Influence without authority – comfortable guiding cross functional partners toward data driven decisions.High ownership mindset with strong follow through and accountability.Comfort with ambiguity and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.Collaborative and people first approach that builds trust across teams.Detail oriented while maintaining a strategic view of the business.Proactive problem solver who anticipates needs and identifies opportunities before they surface.At Lactalis, we offer a comprehensive Total Rewards Program with a variety of affordable benefits and coverage options.
