Job Title: OR RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 10H Days Hours per Shift: 10 hours Experience: Minimum of 3 years License: IN or compact license required Certifications: BLS thru AHA; ACLS thru AHA Must-Have: Previous ortho experience required Description: Unit notes include: Minimum of 2 years in the operating room is required. General job duties include acting as the RN circulator for ortho rooms. Experience with EPIC EMR is preferred. Shifts may vary; please refer to the position description for details. Floating to other departments could involve working on similar cases in neuro. The unit is equipped with 13 operating rooms. The nurse to patient ratio has not been specified. Client-provided scrubs are part of the dress code. The unit runs 3-4 ortho rooms per day. Cancellation policy allows for call-off or cancellation up to 24 hours per 13-week assignment. Required skills include a minimum of 2 years of experience. Specific licensures and certifications include BLS thru AHA and ACLS thru AHA.
