SUMMARY

The Credit Analyst is responsible for managing the Commercial, C&I, SBA, Real Estate Lending, Consumer and Commercial Equipment Leasing loan processes and preparing relationship global cash flow analysis and management reporting. The analyst supports the company's lending units with credit memoranda and financial analysis of new and existing lending relationships and ensures compliance with established bank policies and procedures. The role requires knowledge of state and federal regulations including GLBA, Regulation Z, DD, B, Dodd‑Frank, elder abuse laws, the Bank Secrecy Act, USA PATRIOT Act, AML, etc., as they pertain to the position.

REQUIRED DUTIES

Identify, collect, and analyze credit analysis and global cash flow to assess credit risk. Conduct site visits, meetings, and interviews with borrowers. Prepare file approval memoranda summarizing results and validate credit risk ratings in compliance with the company's policy and procedures. Monitor delinquencies, covenant compliance, and other risk factors. Support commercial lending in other credit matters as assigned. Contact borrowers to obtain additional supporting information. Prepare spreadsheets and calculate appropriate ratios and other financial information. Provide direct support to senior credit officers/credit manager to develop and analyze all relevant credit information for more complex commercial and business loans. Maintain knowledge of the bank's underwriting and lending guidelines. Treat people with respect, keep commitments, inspire trust, and work ethically with integrity. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor's degree preferred; high school diploma plus 1+ year experience or training in commercial or SBA lending, property cash‑flow analysis, and appraisal valuation methods. Commercial real estate and/or SBA analysis/underwriting experience a plus. Strong problem‑solving, analytical, and decision‑making skills. Ability to handle multiple transactions simultaneously and work well in a team‑oriented environment. Strong customer‑service, relationship development, and management skills. Basic computer skills including word processing, spreadsheet, and mainframe systems. Intermediate typing skills to meet production needs. Basic math skills; ability to calculate interest, commissions, ratios, percentages, balance accounts, etc. Good verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to handle complex problems involving multiple variables in non‑standard situations. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

PAY & BENEFITS

Pay range: $45,800 – $65,000 per year, based on experience, education, and skills. Successful candidates may be eligible for bonus, stock, commissions, and incentives at the company's discretion.
