Responsibilities
- Provide respiratory care interventions and medication administration per orders, implementing care plans based on assessment and protocol.
- Manage ventilator support and protocol-driven ventilator management, including monitoring and adjusting settings as directed.
- Deliver direct patient care in high-acuity situations with significant independent decision-making and critical thinking.
- Educate patients and families, coordinate activities with the care team, and participate in staff development and education for others.
- Contribute to population-specific care needs, addressing biological, emotional, developmental, psychosocial, and educational aspects in patient/family interactions.
- Participate in onboarding and education of new employees and ongoing professional development.

Requirements
- Active Georgia license as Respiratory Therapist (RRT credential strongly preferred)
- Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential
- Education: Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or higher from an accredited program
- Experience: Prior ICU/critical care experience or travel therapy experience preferred
- Ability to work in an inpatient, high-acuity setting and to work night shifts; strong communication and teamwork skills
