Job Description LHH is actively seeking a Registration Coordinator for one of our top clients in Compton! This will be a contract opportunity with our client and will be onsite at their office in Compton.


Registration Coordinator - Personal Logistics & Relocation Services

Job Summary

The Registration Coordinator is responsible for receiving, processing, and registering customer orders while supporting transportation and logistics operations for household goods relocation services. This role ensures timely and accurate order management, effective communication with customers and vendors, and exceptional service throughout the relocation process.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately enter and maintain shipment, order, and customer information in internal tracking systems
• Initiate registration and logistics processes in accordance with customer requirements and contract standards
• Track and monitor shipments with steamship lines, trucking vendors, rail carriers, and other transportation providers
• Respond promptly and professionally to incoming customer calls, emails, and service requests
• Escalate issues as needed to ensure timely resolution and high customer satisfaction
• Maintain complete, accurate, and up-to-date records within proprietary databases and document management systems
• Review records for errors, investigate discrepancies, and resolve service exceptions
• Support departmental performance goals, KPIs, and customer satisfaction initiatives
• Perform general administrative duties including scanning, document processing, mail distribution, scheduling updates, and phone support
• Collaborate with leadership and team members to identify process improvements and operational efficiencies
• Update schedules, logs, and assigned tasks daily
• Perform additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Associate degree or related college coursework preferred

Experience

• Minimum 2 years of related experience in import/export operations, logistics, transportation, or supply chain coordination required
• Experience with domestic and/or international transportation logistics preferred

Required Skills & Abilities

• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
• Typing speed of 40 WPM with ten-key proficiency
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service orientation with the ability to build professional relationships
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Ability to maintain confidentiality with professionalism and discretion
• High level of accuracy in data entry and record management

Pay Details: $21.00 to $25.00 per hour
