Key Responsibilities

• Deliver consistent, high-quality medical care in accordance with national and community standards, while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with office staff to implement efficient office practices that enhance patient flow and care delivery.
• Liaise with practice management and hospital administration to advocate for shared goals and improve practice operations.
• Foster a cohesive and collaborative team identity that reflects the values of Thompson Health, enhancing patient care and satisfaction.
• Actively participate in patient management and role modeling that aligns practice objectives with overall health system goals.
• Document patient interactions and care details comprehensively within two business days, ensuring adequate records for regulatory, billing, and patient care uses.
• Maintain current licensure, registrations, and education requirements, including ensuring that all certifications are up to date.'
• Provide leadership and promote exemplary communication with both patients and staff, striving for excellence in all interactions.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The Nurse Practitioner will cater to a diverse patient population, including individuals across various age groups with multifaceted healthcare needs. You will assess the patients' physical, emotional, and social requirements while providing tailored care that respects their unique backgrounds and circumstances. Your role is essential in promoting collective health outcomes through patient-centered practices.

Qualifications

• Valid New York State certification/registration as a Family, Adult, or Pediatric Nurse Practitioner.
• AANP Board Certification is required.
• Active DEA license.
• Ability to obtain appropriate privileges from F. F. Thompson Health.
• Familiarity with ICD10 coding is preferred.
• Graduation from an AMA approved Nurse Practitioner program and commitment to ongoing professional development and education.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an outpatient clinical setting as a Nurse Practitioner is preferred, allowing for a smoother transition into the role and enhancing patient care delivery.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 150,000 and USD 160,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
