Clinical Dietitian II - Clinical Nutrition - Full Time

Job Summary This position is accountable for medical nutrition therapy of the pediatric patient in the inpatient and ambulatory settings. This individual screens patients for nutritional risk, assesses nutrition needs, identifies nutritional requirements according to age and disease, determines nutritional diagnosis, and develops and implements nutrition plans of care. The incumbent evaluates and monitors the outcomes of medical nutrition therapy intervention and provides nutrition education to patients and families to accomplish patient goals. Qualifications Education College Degree - 4 year Foods and Nutrition or related subject (required) Program Coordinated program in Dietetics, dietetic internship or approved pre-professional practice program (required) Licenses and Certifications RD - Registered Dietitian (required) Other Registration with the Commission on Dietetic Registration (required) Skills And Abilities Bilingual Skills Preferred To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
