Warehouse Associate (Shipping & Receiving / Forklift)
Pay: $20 - $21/hour
Schedule: Full-Time
Position Overview
We are seeking a dependable and safety-driven Warehouse Associate with strong experience in shipping, receiving, and commercial forklift operations . In today’s competitive market, we value individuals who demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and accountability —these are essential for success in this role.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely load and unload dry van and flatbed trucks
- Operate Standup Forklift equipment in a warehouse setting
- Utilize RF scanners (SAP experience preferred)for inventory tracking
- Receive, verify, and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and condition
- Pick, pack, and prepare outgoing shipments based on order specifications
- Accurately complete shipping/receiving documentation (manual and electronic)
- Route materials to appropriate stock, staging, or inspection areas
- Work collaboratively with a small team to maintain workflow and efficiency
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or related experience
- Commercial forklift experience required (recent, hands-on experience strongly preferred)
- Experience loading/unloading flatbed and dry van trailers
- Forklift certification preferred
- Experience with RF scanners and warehouse systems (SAP a plus)
- Basic computer skills ( Word, Excel, MS Teams, email )
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Requirements
- Consistent attendance and punctuality are required
- Safety-minded with a strong awareness of warehouse best practices
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (may be required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Strong communication skills and a customer-focused mindset
