Tech Program Manager (Digital/WordPress) - REMOTE Location Bellevue - Washington - USA, Remote WFH Job Details Job ID: 895275 10 - 15 Years 1 Opening Bellevue - Washington - USA, Remote WFH Role description REMOTE POSITION We are looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager (TPM) with strong WordPress and web platform delivery experience to lead program execution, sprint planning, delivery governance, release coordination, risk management and stakeholder communication for the WordPress engineering team. The TPM will work closely with Front end (FE), Back End (BE), Full Stack Development (FSD), QA and Systems Engineering teams to drive predictable high quality delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead sprint planning, backlog refinement, prioritization and delivery tracking for WordPress engineering initiatives Manage end to end execution across WordPress development, integrations, enhancements, maintenance and production support Track program status, milestones, risks, dependencies, blockers, issues and escalations; drive timely resolution Establish and manage program governance cadence including sprint reviews, status meetings, stakeholder reviews and leadership updates Partner with Product Engineering, QA and Systems Engineering teams to align scope priorities, release plans and timelines Coordinate cross functional delivery across FE, BE, FSD, QA, DevOps, System Engineering and business stakeholders Drive release planning and deployment readiness including production support coordination and post release follow‑up Facilitate issue triage, prioritize action items, assign owners and ensure closure of delivery commitments Maintain RAID logs, project plans, dashboards, action trackers and executive status reports Identify delivery risks and proactively develop mitigation and contingency plans Monitor sprint and program metrics, identify delivery trends and drive continuous improvement in engineering processes Ensure dependencies between WordPress enterprise applications, APIs, infrastructure and third‑party integrations are actively managed Coordinate with onsite and offshore teams to ensure effective execution, communication and accountability Required Skills 6 years of experience in Technical Program Management preferably within web or digital platforms Strong hands‑on experience managing WordPress based platforms and enterprise web delivery programs Solid understanding of the WordPress development lifecycle including themes, plugins, APIs, integrations, content management environments, releases and production support Strong experience with Agile Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, backlog management, dependency tracking and delivery reporting Experience coordinating complex delivery across Front End, Back End, Full Stack, QA, DevOps, System Engineering and Product teams Strong understanding of release management, deployment processes, production support, incident, issue management and change coordination Excellent stakeholder management, communication, facilitation, organization and follow‑through skills Ability to manage multiple concurrent initiatives and drive execution in a fast paced enterprise environment Hands‑on experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Workfront, Microsoft Excel, Power BI or similar program management and reporting platforms Skills Project Planning Quality Management Resource Management Schedule Management Stakeholder Management Wordpress Other Details Actual compensation within the range will be dependent upon the individual's skills, experience, performance and internal equity.
