Registered Nurse - Med/Surg Telemetry

Location: Manchester, NH

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: This position requires a shift from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, with every other weekend (EOW) availability.

Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse for our Med/Surg Telemetry unit. The ideal candidate will provide comprehensive care to patients and possess strong assessment skills, particularly in orthopedic care and medication management.

Responsibilities:

• Perform head-to-toe assessments and manage patient care plans.
• Administer IV medications and manage various infusions including Lasix, heparin, metoprolol, diltiazem, and insulin.
• Provide wound care, drain management, and care for feeding tubes.
• Oversee central line management, including PICC and HD catheters.
• Deliver postoperative patient care and educate patients on their health.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Current RN License.
• ACLS and BLS certifications required.
• Experience in Med/Surg Telemetry is essential.
