Registered Nurse Pediatric Critical Care Float

Overview HealthONE, a leading healthcare provider in Denver, is seeking a Registered Nurse Pediatric Critical Care Float to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team. In this role, you will provide high‑acuity, family‑centered nursing care to critically ill infants, children, and adolescents while floating between pediatric intensive care, step‑down, emergency, and other pediatric units across our Denver‑area facilities. You will perform comprehensive assessments, develop and implement age‑appropriate care plans, administer medications and advanced therapies, respond rapidly to changes in patient condition, and collaborate closely with physicians, respiratory therapists, pharmacists, and other members of the interdisciplinary team. As a critical care float nurse, you will adapt quickly to varied pediatric care environments, follow evidence‑based protocols, use cutting‑edge monitoring and life‑support technology, and serve as a clinical resource to unit staff. You will support and educate patients’ families, provide clear communication regarding care and treatment, and uphold HealthONE’s culture of excellence, compassion, and safety.
