Manufacturing Engineer

Job TitleKey Responsibilities:Develop, implement, and maintain manufacturing processes to improve efficiency and reduce waste.Collaborate with design and quality teams to ensure manufacturability of new products.Poka yoke processes when possible.Support root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements.Execute continuous improvement projects using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies under guidance.Develop standard work for processes using work instructions, assembly procedures, digital guidance docsEngage with operations, discover their pain points and address.Focus on Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost.Participate in daily GEMBA walks.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma principles.Familiarity in CAD software and manufacturing systems.Problem-solving and analytical skills.Effective communication and teamwork abilities.Knowledge of ERP systems and data analysis tools.Solid base in Office SuiteEEO/AAP Statement:Federal Signal Corporation builds and delivers equipment of unmatched quality that moves material, cleans infrastructure, and protects the communities where we work and live.
