Physical Therapist - Travel Contract

Looking for a change of scenery and a chance to help others. Provide assessment and treatment to patients across the lifespan to improve mobility, reduce pain, restore function, and prevent disability. This opportunity is for a Physical Therapist in Hartsville, SC, working in an outpatient setting with occasional coverage for acute care evaluations. State licensure is required to practice.

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor‘s, Master‘s, or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Active South Carolina Physical Therapist license required. (Must be attached to resume.)
• Minimum 2 years recent clinical PT experience. Hospital experience preferred.
• Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association. (Must be attached to submission packet.)
• Experience evaluating and conducting medically prescribed physical therapy treatment programs in an outpatient or hospital setting.
• Ability to supervise physical therapy assistants and aides.
• Experience with patient education on injury prevention, ergonomics, restorative and rehabilitation therapy.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in an outpatient department within a hospital system.
• Experience with acute care evaluations and cross-coverage.
• Familiarity with common EMR systems used in hospital and outpatient therapy settings.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM.
• Shift hours: Friday 8:00 AM–12:30 PM.
• Role is outpatient with occasional weekend coverage for acute care evaluations approximately every 5 weeks.
