Business Analyst

Overview Business Analyst responsibilities include assisting OEM in completing documentation required for the selection of a new Emergency Operation Center tool for resource management. Responsibilities Assist OEM in completing documentation required for the selection of a new Emergency Operation Center tool for resource management. Emergency management business process scenario reviews and validation Stakeholder communication and coordination Formal status reporting and issue management/escalation; liaison with vendors Detailed review of vendor solutions with detailed Depth of knowledge associated with Emergency operations and concepts in terms of regional and federal policies and standards. Apply analytical capabilities (planning, problem solving, critical thinking, organization, attention to detail) to resolve complex functional/technical problems, design business processes, document business processes and models Coordinate Sponsor and Stakeholder engagement in process solution definition and implementation Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, maintain effective customer relationships Produce reports, documentation, research for the purpose of addressing customer needs Engage with stakeholders, understand, and respond to their needs in rapidly changing environments Effectively manage and prioritize work assignments Qualifications and Experience Training and Experience: Sufficient education, training, and experience to demonstrate the possession and direct application of the following knowledge and abilities. Demonstrate depth of knowledge and experience of implementing Disaster Resource Management Systems; is preferred, depending on the position, related certifications may be desirable. Experience in implementing SaaS solutions Experience with procurement processes and compliance with public sector procurement policies Knowledge of Business process design and workflow, Analytical tools (i.e. value stream diagrams, relationship diagrams, workflow diagrams, swim lane diagrams, use case models, requirements documentation, business cases, etc) Business case development and quantitative skills (projected cost, benefits, risks, etc) Project Management, Systems Development Lifecycle MS Office Suite Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field required.
