Job Title: Government Property / Asset Administrator I Reporting To: Government-Customer Property Manager Work Schedule: Hybrid – Torrance, CA (9/80 schedule with 3 days in office per week) Moog's Military Aircraft Group is a global leader in designing flight control actuation systems for military aircraft, including the F‑35 Lightning II and the V280 Valor. We operate a robust aircraft production and support environment across multiple locations, including an aerospace plant in Torrance, California. Responsibilities Maintain an approved Government Property Management System for applicable Moog facilities. Lead Government and Customer audits, gathering documentation, verifying sample items, and responding to auditors’ inquiries. Track the completion of all aspects of government‑owned repair/refurb units from acquisition to disposition, ensuring compliance with FAR, DFARS, and NASA regulations. Extract data from Microsoft, Moog, and Government software applications to monitor and report on government property status (monthly, quarterly, and annual reports). Support the annual physical inventory of government‑owned property and reconcile results prior to submission to Government and Customers. Process daily receipt of Navy repair units within the CAV‑RP system per CAV SOW requirements. Track misdirected property, including repairs and other government property, and report in compliance with documented processes. Coordinate all disposals of property, ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Maintain accurate official property records that are auditable by Government and Customer personnel and meet FAR, DFARS, and NASA FAR Supplements requirements. Collaborate with team members in Contracts, Program Management, Materials Handling, Operations, and other cross‑functional areas. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a technical discipline. Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Government/Customer Property and/or Compliance. Excellent written and oral communication skills; tactful communication with personnel at all levels, including Government/Customer auditors. High degree of organization, meticulous attention to detail, and strong analytical problem‑solving ability. Self‑starter capable of working independently in a fast‑paced environment.
