Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician-JLLAs a Maintenance Technician at JLL, you'll be at the heart of keeping our client facilities running smoothly and efficiently. This role is all about hands-on problem-solving and preventative care across building systems—from HVAC and electrical to plumbing and general repairs. You'll work independently on routine assignments while collaborating with engineering staff, vendors, and facility management to ensure a safe, reliable, and efficient workplace. This position offers the opportunity to make a tangible impact on the environments where people work, live, and thrive every day, all while advancing your career through diverse technical challenges and continuous learning opportunities.What your day-to-day will look like:Troubleshoot equipment and complete repairs on building systems and infrastructure while responding promptly to work orders and service requestsConduct routine inspections to identify maintenance deficiencies and recommend corrective actions that prevent larger issues from developingComplete general building maintenance including but not limited to ceiling tiles, painting, room set up, event set up, and general customer service needsAssist with equipment installations, office moves, furniture modifications, office furniture repairs and workspace reconfigurations to support evolving client needsMaintain accurate work order documentation and labor tracking using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) such as CorrigoCoordinate with contractors and vendors performing maintenance and repair work, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations, JLL safety policies, front desk and mailroom support and client-specific requestsRequired qualifications:High School Diploma or GED with minimum1-2 years of commercial building maintenance or facilities maintenance experienceWorking knowledge of general building maintenanceExperience performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting building equipment in commercial environmentsProficiency with CMMS software (Corrigo, Maximo, WebTMA, or equivalent) and Microsoft Office applicationsStrong customer service, communication, and organizational skills with ability to interact professionally with building occupants and stakeholdersAbility to safely use hand tools, power tools, ladders, and maintenance equipment while lifting up to 50 poundsPreferred qualifications:EPA Universal Certification, HVAC, Electrical, or Plumbing trade certificationExperience with Building Automation Systems (BAS) and energy management systemsValid driver's license (if required by the account) and ability to participate in on-call rotation and respond to emergencies as neededCommercial office, laboratory, manufacturing, or critical facilities experience preferred but not requiredTrade school education or military technical training preferredSchedule: M-F 8:00 AM - 5:00PMThis position does not provide visa sponsorship.
