Cnc Lathe Operator
We are looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience setting up and operating CNC lathes, reading blueprints, and performing quality inspections. Experience with HAAS CNC equipment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Complete multiple CNC machine setups, including adjusting tool lengths and offsets.
- Set up and operate HAAS CNC lathes and mills.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Perform first-article inspections and ensure parts meet specifications.
- Machine aluminum and stainless-steel materials.
- Make necessary machine adjustments to maintain quality and accuracy.
- Learn and operate additional machine types, including Kiwa.
- Follow safety and quality procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience setting up and operating HAAS CNC lathes/mills preferred.
- Experience machining aluminum and stainless steel.
- Mastercam programming knowledge preferred.
- Strong understanding of basic math and geometry.
- Basic computer skills.
- Dependable, responsible, and able to work independently.
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Pay: $28.00/hour, depending on experience and skills Hours: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–3:30 PM Location: Paterson, NJ
