As an Audit Manager on our Government Services team , you’ll work with organizations that shape communities—state agencies, municipalities, school districts, public universities, and more. This role offers the opportunity to lead complex engagements while serving as a trusted advisor and team leader in a highly visible, mission-driven space. Key Responsibilities Lead multiple audit engagements from planning through delivery. Review workpapers, oversee audit procedures, and ensure quality and timeliness. Serve as a trusted advisor to government and public-sector clients. Manage client relationships and act as a liaison between clients and internal teams. Provide guidance on complex accounting, reporting, and compliance matters. Identify opportunities to expand services and support practice growth. Leadership & Team Development Coach, mentor, and develop team members. Set clear expectations and provide ongoing feedback. Manage workloads and foster a collaborative, accountable team environment. Strong project management, analytical, and communication skills. Experience with government or public-sector clients preferred. Familiarity with GASB standards and CPA certification preferred.
