Shift: Monday-Friday

• 10pm-6:30am

Screening questions:

• Are you comfortable taking a nicotine test along with a standard drug test (they test for cotinine - a metabolite of nicotine which stays in the system much longer than nicotine so they can’t just quit right before)
• Are you comfortable taking vaccines (MMR, Varicella, HepB, Tdap)
• Are you comfortable taking the flu shot?
• Are you comfortable with a background check (all time, not just the last couple years)
• Do you have a reliable vehicle (no Marta, Uber, etc)
• Do you have anything coming up in the next few months that would conflict with starting a new job?

 

JOB DESCRIPTION

Provides effective and efficient maintenance, engineering, and mechanical system support to hospital campuses, satellite facilities, and Children's Healthcare of Atlanta - Support Center. Ensures, within all regulatory agency requirements, that buildings, equipment, and grounds (where applicable) are maintained in a safe and aesthetically pleasing condition to provide an appropriate environment for the wellbeing of patients, visitors, and staff. Proactively supports efforts that ensure delivery of safe patient care and services and promote a safe environment at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

5-10 (no more no less) years of experience in trade work such as electricity, plumbing, heating/ventilation/air conditioning, refrigeration, boilers, and locksmith Ability to diagnose and respond to commercial maintenance requests

Experience working for a large facility (Great customer service

 

NICE TO HAVE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
